About Poodeletta
A poodle. A passport. A calling.

The Story
Poodeletta did not choose to travel. Travel chose her. From her first glimpse of the Zürich Altstadt — its guild houses glowing amber in the afternoon light — she knew that the world existed to be observed, appreciated, and, ultimately, colored in. She has since visited Lugano, Venice, Vienna, Milan, London, and Paris. More cities await.

And Then There Was Barbonello
Barbonello is Poodeletta's companion, her foil, and, on occasion, her Valentine. He is a Standard Poodle of considerable charm and slightly less discipline. He once ate an entire Pain au Chocolat that had been intended as a gift. He remains unrepentant. They travel together as often as separately, which keeps things interesting.

Real Places. Real Art.
Every Poodeletta illustration is drawn from reference. The Münsterbrücke is the Münsterbrücke. The Storchen is the Storchen. When a child colors Poodeletta checking into her hotel, they are, in a small way, learning what that hotel looks like. The coloring page becomes a postcard, a memory, a beginning of curiosity about the world.
For Children. For Adults. For Anyone.
For Children
For younger artists, Poodeletta's pages offer bold outlines and clear subjects — a poodle is immediately recognizable, a bridge is clearly a bridge. Color stays inside the lines (mostly).
For Adults
For adults, the pages offer the intricate hatching and architectural detail that makes an hour of coloring genuinely meditative. Poodeletta has been called the finest coloring book companion for a glass of wine and a quiet evening.

A Note From the Creator
“Poodeletta began as a private illustration — a portrait of an elegant poodle I admired, placed against a city I loved. Friends asked for copies. Then strangers asked. Then it seemed right to share her with the world. I hope she brings as much quiet pleasure to your table as she has brought to mine.”— The Poodeletta Studio
